We're hoping to raise awareness and funds, especially for Pediatric MS. My friend's daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed with Pediatric MS two years ago and has struggled through many relapses and medications. In hindsight, she realizes her first symptoms started when she was 13. Now 16, she wants to raise awareness since early treatment is the key to lesser disability. If you can't make it to the event at the mall, please consider donating to Olivia's MS Walk team, Liv Life.

Wantagh PTA Council is holding a Book Fair at Barnes and Noble from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from purchases at the Book Fair will go to the Wantagh PTA Council Family Reading Program (PARP). Come and hear Wantagh teachers and staff read to the children. For some adult entertainment, pick up a signed copy of The Benefactor. I'll be donating my net proceeds to the cause.
